(for the worldwide development of brand)
The new Yatay age.
The first co-action platform for sustainable innovation Made in Italy was born from the partnership between Golden Goose and Coronet
YATAY took its first steps into the world of eco-sustainable fashion in 2018 with an entirely green and attractively designed project. Indeed, the brand’s name comes from a particular species of palm tree that symbolises the principle of circularity, the same principle that characterizes its vegan and eco-sustainable trainer collections.
Yatay creates shoes that embrace the environment through ethical and innovative practices. Involving the use of recycled materials such as cereals, wood, plastic bottles, and tyres, it also ensures environmental sustainability through its choice of suppliers who rely exclusively on renewable energy in the production cycle. Sustainability concerns not only the materials but also their processing. In fact, the sneaker is entirely Made in Italy, assembled by master shoemakers from the Marche region using only Italian recycled materials.
A unique code, a unique action
Branded on the back of each left shoe is a unique code that allows you to take part in a sustainable co-action: planting your own tree (handled completely by the company) to offset the carbon footprint emitted from the production of each pair of shoes.
Thanks to a strategic partnership with a luxury sector player like Golden Goose, Yatay has opened the door to a new era, creating an R&D lab focused on sustainability and scalability in the fashion industry. And the embodiment of all their values is the Yatay Model 1B, the new genderless and planet–friendly pair of trainers entirely Made in Italy.
